Japanese License Plates

Curious to know the era of these license plates, I'd love to hear if you have a clue. Each plate is 15cm long (about 6 inches). They'd look right at home in anything by Studio Ghibli.

  1. Hi I am a japanese license collector and I can tell you than both plates are motorcycle plates. The pink one is for license plate from 90 to 125cc and the white one is for 50cc. The year is not possible to know without the insurance sticker, the older one I got in my collection is from 1986. I will try to find for you the cities of the license plates and i come back ;-)

By the way, you got the plates with you or just find the photos?
